Remodelling of an existing, redundant, poorly occupied building in Shieldfield, Newcastle, providing thirty-two apartments within a later living and care assisted facility for RL provider, YHN. The original three-storey building had a series of poor bedsit sized rooms and the internal spaces were remodelled to provide one and two bed apartments with living accommodation designed to accessible space standards.

A new build extension provided a new entrance location off the rear landscaped courtyard, a communal living space for residents meeting / relaxation opportunities and additional apartments.
