Remodelling and refurbishment project at Kennedy Gardens, Billingham involving three existing residential tower blocks which provide affordable apartment living accommodation for RL provider, Thirteen. Internally, the communal spaces were refurbished to a high end commercial / hotel aesthetic. Externally, the building envelopes were enhanced thermally with a new cladding enclosure while creating a new face to the streetscape and environment. The surrounding hard and soft landscaping were enhanced to complete the upgrade works.
The project was shortlisted in the RICS North East Awards 2016 for a regeneration project.
