Hamsteels Community Centre

LOCATION: County Durham

A new build community centre replacing a centre which offered a poor use of space and was in a poor state of repair. The centre provided internal spaces which meets the changing needs to community and arranged around a series of flexible meeting rooms and spaces with differing volumes such as vaulted ceiling spaces to the main activity halls and regular proportioned rooms for smaller meetings. All the spaces are supported by the ancillary accommodation for storage, kitchen preparation and WC provision.
